Viscosity Oils

High-precision viscosity oils for accurate & reliable calibration

Your trusted supplier of calibrated viscosity oils

For more than 50 years, PRA has been a trusted supplier of calibrated viscosity oils for the industry. Produced in an ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 4 accredited laboratory using primary test equipment to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of your viscosity measurements, our 500ml oils are ideal for the calibration of flow cups and viscometers at any temperature between 20 and 25°C.

All our oils come with a certificate which shows that the calibration is traceable to the International Standard ASTM D2162. The calibration certificate includes viscosity measurements at 20, 23, and 25°C, calculated viscosity at temperatures at 0.5°C intervals between 20 and 25°C, and a calibration graph, quoting viscosity in mm²/s (centistokes), mPa.s (centipoise) and (where applicable) Krebs units.

At PRA, we understand that every industry has its unique requirements, which is why we also offer the option of calculating the flow time of the oil through a specified flow cup at 0.5°C intervals between 20 and 25°C. This chart can be purchased separately to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of your viscosity measurements alongside your certificate.
